Conflict implies fanaticism. The same fanaticism that turns into comedic relief in Wile E. and Roadrunner. Its creators adhered to a set of rules for the cartoon, one of which presents a prime example of how war works:
“The Coyote could stop anytime — if he were not a fanatic."
